March 5-6**Piano Evaluations for North Region and some South Region
March 12-13**Theory Examinations at Chabot College
March 12 and 20*Piano Evaluations for South Region

Important Reminder Notice: Due to the number of South Region students, some will have to take their exams during March 5 and 6. The evaluator chair gave us only 10 evaluators a day. North region has 394 students and South Region has 704 students. As you can see, that means some of the south region students will be taking their exams during March 5 and 6. The students will be chosen at random. To help facilitate matters, if you do not mind having your students take the exams earlier, please inform Grace Cheng as soon as possible.

Theory Site Reminder: All Piano Theory Exams will be held at Chabot College. Remind your students that there is a $2.00 parking fee. Bring EXACT change.
Teachers remind students NOT to be late for their performance evaluations because of taking too long to finish the theory exams, if they have performance exams on March 12 and are also taking the theory exam on the same day. Remind them to give themselves PLENTY of time to get to the studio site.

Remember to check the spelling of your students* names and make sure the CM Level is correct on the list of your students that was sent with your December packet. We will be using this list to make certificates and exam labels. If it is not correct, call me ASAP and tell me the correction. The information of the student will come from that list. If you find an error on the certificate, and it wasn*t my mistake, I will give you another certificate, but it will be blank, and you will have to print it yourself. If your student decides to drop from exams, immediately call and inform Grace Cheng (south region) or Cathy O*Connor and me (north region).

The next packet is being prepared soon. It will include the schedule of your students* evaluations times plus maps and instructions regarding evaluations. Also, you will be sent instructions regarding your CM jobs. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

All jobs have been assigned now. If you have questions about your job, please call Katherine LaRose, (510) 796-4261. Remember, if you have difficulty fulfilling your assignment, look for another teacher who will trade jobs with you from the list I sent to you earlier in the year. Then inform Katherine LaRose. For questions regarding studio assignments, call me.

We are STILL looking for an assistant for Katherine LaRose to help her coordinate theory examinations at Chabot College. She wants somebody to take over for her, probably next year. She will walk you through the job and help you as you learn. If we don*t have anyone, we aren*t going to have examinations!!! Come on somebody, volunteer!!! Thanks.
Also, I am looking for somebody to cover North Chair, so that I don*t have to do two jobs. I would really appreciate that, too. Thanks!
