Congratulations to all the students that participated at the 2005 convention that took place at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento.. A special congratulation to Jed Gallant's student, Andrew Hsu, for winning 1st place in the Concerto Competition in the Division I (through ages 11) category. Andrew performed the Concerto No. 11 in F Major, K. 413 Allegro by W. A. Mozart.
Andrew Hsu was also awarded Honorable Mention, in the Division 3 category, for his composition "Bagatelle" at the Composers Today Student Honors Recital. Andrew studied composition with Glen Stark.
Congratulations to Bethany Wang and her fabulous performance at the Young Artist
Guild Recital. Bethany performed a piece by Ravel and Prokofiev. Bethany is a student of Jed Gallant.

Congratulations to the student composers that participated in the The Composers Today Symposium: Alex Wang "Boogie Woogie", Ray Hua Wu "Mountain of Fire", and Alexander Lin "Arbaric Disaster". The students named above study composition with Glen Stark.
Congratulations goes to Glen Stark for winning First Place in the Newsletter Competition for Large Branches. There were 23 entries in this category including large and small branches.
Congratulations to Sister Andre Marie Fujier for her wonderful work on the scrapbook. Our branch received an Honorable Mention for the large branch division.
